Jalyn Conklin began her dance journey at the age of 9 at Commonwealth Dance Arts Academy in Petersburg, Virginia. She quickly flourished in their program and joined the dance company, traveling along the East Coast for performances and competitions such as Curefest in Washington, D.C. Throughout her training, she had the privilege of working with esteemed artists and choreographers, including Anthony Burrell, Eartha Robinson, and Sakinah LeStage.

Jalyn continued her training with Genia Johnson Dance Company in Colonial Heights, Virginia, where she performed in the Miss Virginia Pageant and competed in the Showstoppers Dance Competition. During her competitive career, she earned numerous awards, including the Senior Emerging Artist Title at Starquest Dance Competition in 2021. She remains dedicated to growth as an artist and continues to take classes for ongoing development.

Professionally, Jalyn expanded her experience at Center Stage Dance Company in Camden, Delaware, beginning as a substitute instructor and eventually becoming Studio Manager. These roles deepened her expertise in both instruction and studio leadership. She also serves as a Director and Instructor for Radiate Convention, where she inspires dancers through dynamic classes, technique training, and mentorship.

Jalyn is a graduate of Delaware State University, where she earned her degree in Sport Management. She is now the proud owner of Elevé Dance Studio, where she is committed to creating a supportive, uplifting, and high-quality dance environment for dancers of all ages. Her mission is to nurture each dancer’s confidence, artistry, and joy while building a strong sense of community.
